Really enjoyed this one guys. I’ve been a stress management and resilience instructor in the US Navy for over 10 years now and there’s a lot of overlap with what you both discussed.

Main takeaways/ideas that resonated with me:

The importance of recovery. Managing stress is important but I believe it’s recovery that differentiates resilience from burnout. We know adversity is inevitable. It’s the recovery period that allows for sustained performance or growth post hardship.

The value of deliberate discomfort or what I call intentional stress. I’m like Carlos and love to use it in the physical domain but it can be applied anywhere to train the skill that is resilience.

Great stuff and thanks for giving me something fun to listen to as I mowed my yard while rucking today 👊🏻
